Scarlet fever is a bacterial disease that occurs in sharply, causing fever, sore throat, tiredness and a rash of red bumps. While more common to attack the children, can also affect teenagers and adults.
This disease is acquired by exposure to a bacteria called beta hemolytic streptococcus group A, which enters the body through contact with droplets from an infected individual, it is important to know that the damage that aggressor generates the microorganism associated with the development rheumatic fever, a disease that causes inflammation in joints, seizures and heart damage.
